This Stainless-Steel Dual Mass Dynamic Cone Penetrometer Kit is the only DCP on the market that strictly adheres to the ASTM D6951/D6951M − 09 requirement of "All joints must be securely tightened including the coupler assembly" This is the only DCP on the market that the drive rod is joined together with a thread to provide a tight fit. It is manufactured and designed in the USA by Salem Tool Company. This tool is a real workhorse that is built to last. This kit will measure the shear strength of soil with CBR values between 0.5-100. This kit includes a 37.75" Stainless Steel Drive Rod for a test depth of 36", Hard re-usable Cone Tip, 25 Disposable Cone Tips and Disposable Cone Tip Adaptor for easy extraction, 50" Scale with Upper and Lower Guides to enable easy 1 person operation, and all necessary wrenches for assembly.
